Kiss Me Kate

This is a musical comedy play within a play about an egotistical actor and producer named Fred Graham and his ex-wife Lili Vanessi who are playing characters Petruchio and Kate in the "Taming of the Shrew." In both their real world and in their play, they bicker and romance in a "battle of the sexes."

Get ready to laugh out loud at this hilarious tale. Nick, a single Italian-American from New Jersey, dines with both sets of grandparents every Sunday. Now he has to break the news that he has been offered his long-awaited dream job. It comes with a price, however ... and his grandparents, in their own inimitable way, scheme to prevent him from accepting it, and that includes bringing to dinner the lovely – and single – Caitlin O’Hare as bait.

There is at least one big benefit for those folks who stay here in the Grand over the summer. When the temperatures soar, so does the entertainment! The Drama/Comedy and Music Clubs invite you to come in out of the heat for their very cool joint production of "In the Good Ole Summertime." It's a cavalcade of talented singers and dancers showcased in our Grand Cabaret at Sonoran Plaza.

"RUN FOR YOUR WIFE"

A London cab driver, John Smith, literally has two lives, complete with two different wives, Mary and Barbara. Somehow, he manages to juggle them both without arousing suspicion; however, he gets caught up in amugging, and he wakes up in a hospital. He ends up with Mary instead of with Barbara, with whom he should be at the moment, and he now has to deal with explaining this problem to both ofhis wives and the police all at once.
